HISTORY

After receiving rave reviews in Europe, it wasn't
long before Brian Slagel's Metal Blade Records
came calling. Wardog signed in early '96 and later
that year released "Scorched Earth", once again
gaining great reviews but having weather the
passing storm of grunge and alternative. This time
frame also saw the band making a few personnel
changes, finally setting in with old friend and
partner in crime Paul Sullivan stepping into the
second guitar slot, and skin basher Eric
Bonglomo filling the drum seat. Sullivan, a
classically trained guitarist, had played with
Catero years before, and Bonglomo graduated
from the Percussion Institute of Technology in Los
Angeles and had gigged extensively in the area,
playing everything from Metal to Big Band. With
the line-up finally solidified, the band began work
on their newest recording, "A Sound Beating".
